20 Years of Impact: Celebrating Pilot International + Virtual Career Fair

A Milestone for our Global Partner: SHIFT x Pilot International

This year marks a significant milestone in our journey of international development. We are proud to stand alongside our partner, Pilot International, as they celebrate 20 years of transforming economic landscapes.

What began two decades ago as the vision of a young environmentalist, Hon. Prof. Robinah Nanyunja, has evolved into a powerhouse multinational platform. Today, Pilot International and its sister organization, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum Africa (WEFA), facilitate vital funding for SMEs across East Africa and beyond with active chapters in Kenya, Mauritius, Nigeria, Cameroon, and several other nations.

Our Shared History

Since SHIFT first connected with Pilot International and WEFA in 2023, our collaboration has been a cornerstone of our work in Africa. From presenting at the TransAfrica Investment Summit in 2023 and 2024 to promoting the Youth Innovation Challenge, our shared mission has always been clear: spreading positive media and fostering the growth of African led ventures.

To celebrate this 20-year anniversary, we are co-hosting a virtual event dedicated to "Increasing Access to Decent Jobs." This is more than a celebration; it is a call to action for the next generation of leaders.
