Welcome to the second issue of Decision Makers Blvd, your window into the exciting world of SHIFT Enterprise Academy.

In this issue we will introduce you to our three programs we have developed since arriving in East Africa in 2021. As you may know, “Team SHIFT” began as a college preparedness program in 2011, and is now revolutionizing entrepreneurship education through technology in East Africa and beyond.

We challenge you to take a 15 minute plunge to discover the work, the impact, the testimonies of our impact after 24 months in East Africa. We are just getting started, so we certainly invite you to get on board the SHIFT Train!

Our most promising start up founders are invited to a semi annual in-person boot camp where we take a deep dive into event planning, entering new markets, and raising awareness about your product or service. Relive Launch Pad 2022 in words and photos below!

SHIFT Ventures

The best of the best are incubated for a period of nine months. Once fully funded, the program will offer centralized services in accounting, marketing, and legal. While also connecting each founder with a mentor from the diaspora. Listen to a few testimonials below.

In our next issue, we will introduce you to the next phase of growth for SHIFT over the next 36 months. We are excited about the SHIFT Innovation Village, the baby birthed from a partnership between Erasmus Ichode, Founder of the Ethan Ellsworth Vocational Centre and SHIFT Founder, Ethan Brisby while Ichode was visiting the United States in 2018. Once completed the site will foster growth and innovation in East Africa and beyond.

Our other major project for expansion is the SHIFT Digital Learning Management System. We expect our learning management system to be vital in allowing SHIFT to expanding our horizons for the future.
